hmm... to be honest I had no idea what I was doing when I was doing the water. That bit was hard for me..
still...
HELLLLLL YEAH! Featured in Issue 89 of the Neo magazine
To the actual picture, this is random artwork I drew to accompany my little comic thing To Sail a Moon - the comic which can third in the Manga Jiman 2010 Competition got that groovy Ricoh CX4 to prove it :3
it's an unfinished story, but it's old now - I don't really think I want to finish it =/
And YEAH I will give one of those Deviantart Virtual Cookies to anybody who figures out who that pink haired girl Cherry O'Bligh is obviously ripped off of!
Ah nevermind - it was Momoko from Wedding Peach! That anime is just ... it's part of my childhood! When I try to remember those visits to China when I was like three or something, that and Sailor Moon is what I remember! Even though Wedding Peach wasn't as popular as Sailor Moon, it still holds a place in my heart because my memories are so haunting XD So yeah, in the comic and this here picture you can see how I'm just paying homage to the two animes which influenced me as a kid
The other girls are there cos I felt like there should be other characters. I actually came to name two of them while drawing them. The orange haired girl on the right is called Red and the girl with the long dark hair on the left is called Razor.
The only people who actually appeared in my To Sail a Moon comic were Cherry O'Bligh and Sailor Moonthe Moon Goddess XD Here's the comic for you lot to read:
Thanks I was originally going to submit another picture for that page, but it turned out to be too small, so I had to quickly come up with something else XD and RAWR now I MUST buy a copy somewhere 8< I don't want to miss out on this!
Awesome pic! The colors, perspective...well, everything really looks so very awesome!
