derp... I posted up the older version of this by mistake ._. FIXED NOW YAY!

I finished this ... months ago XD but never remembered to submit this XD

Well I'm guessing this is my last deviation for the year

Chloe Greyspoone in her own environment! While I have a feeling she'd be part of a medieval setting, I can equally imagine her to be a young Victorian rapscallion with her hair in a bun hidden under a scrappy old hat, pretending that she's a boy. Looks like this is something I can work on

Originally it was a doodle/sketch thing during a lesson but it grew a bit from there. It was a bit too late for me to add glass to the window cos I had just finished colouring XD Still, Chloe's a sorceress in training, I guess there's a bit of magic at work to replace that glass

or something.

I instantly fell in love with this pic when I saw it, I love the storytelling within it, and how all the details bring so much life into the scene. Lovely colours too, very nice work ^^.

The floor of Chloe's room is pretty much thriving with rubbish and old items that she doesn't want to part with because they're so sentimental - I'm not used to drawing messy things, but with that in mind it makes the job a bit easier :>

love it all, the detail, the books, the random marks of magic signs on the wall from spell practice past, the plant next to her... on the right... looks like a hat plant X)

Yes I finally posted it up XD I think I really like adding detail to pictures like this

it allows me to express Chloe more clearly as a person XD actually I first created her cos I wanted to do an animation, and that little plant thing was one of the features in there. Chloe was trying to grow the plant and went to inspect it, and to her surprise it sneezed out some magic ... snotty stuff which flew into a pile of books. At first Chloe was a bit surprised then shrugged and went off, ignoring the mess XD I'll see if I can post something up in scraps... I might have a gif of it lying around somewhere..

I don't think that she'd quite fit into Medieval England, though. She has an air of aesthetic sophistication which seems to have been absent in that benighted era. A Victorian Rapscallion, on the other hand... I can quite imagine that.

Maybe she's a girl ahead of her times

Her world is not quite Medieval England, it just has that kind of feel to it. Maybe that could be in the more rural places, like where she's currently living, and in the busier streets and cities there is a Victorian fashion - maybe something like steam-punk where it's the Victorian Era mixed with Sci-fi, only this time it's the Victorian Era mixed with fairytale magic

I cannot quite imagine people tap dancing in Medieval England either XD
